With Eminem taking five years off from music, rumors started that the Detroit rapper was considering retiring. Now that he's back and released "Relapse," plans to release "Refill" near Christmas and "Relapse 2" next year... Fans seem to have forgot about the "retirement" rumors, well now Eminem is talking about the subject along with his plans after music including doing another movie. "We just haven't found anything that's been the right thing at the right time," Em explained about movie roles. "I have to be finished with this album and then I'll probably want to jump into something like that. I don't know if there's a movie where I'll want to be in every single scene again, but something, yeah...It was, 'I don't want to be a rapper when I'm 40,' and the next time we talk it will be, "I don't want to be a rapper when I'm 50." Sixty is the cut-off. I can't be no 60-year-old rapper, son!"

In related news, Rakim recently talked about how rappers should call it quits and retire. "Yeah, I think what's happening is, rappers are becoming, especially for people that love a rapper, rap and hip-hop come to party," Rakim explained. "You can't just put it down. It's not like sports where you know, you lose a step. You can lose skills in rapping of course, but it's a little different man and I think sitting back and watching the R&B genre, you got, at any awards show and you see brothers like Al Green come out and tear it down. It's longevity in R&B and I think if it's done right, to an extent, I think we can have a little longer gevity in hip-hop, it don't just have to be a young music anymore... I think we should stretch out our age limit as far as hip-hop 'cause if that's the case, I think when brothers grow up they just want to leave rap entirely and listen to other genres of music so I think there is room for a little mature sound of hip-hop, for the older, grown and sexy, whatever you wanna call it.

I can see another album outta Em after R2 then Em will be more involved production wise like Dre and just sorting out Shady Records and pushing other artists. Might see a rare feature here and there, but i dont see anymore albums from Em if he makes one after R2

I kinda see that happning Sweating

After R2 drops we wont see another Em album till around 2012 or 2013 time, then theres the Shady artists that needs to get out in the public (if they dont get dropped by then) plus theres the movie side of things if he wanna get back into acting

If we do get 3/4 more albums outta Em after R2 i wouldnt complain Whistle but if Em does only do 1/2 albums after R2 and decides to call it quits, i hope the unreleased tracks make the light of day the same way Tupacs unreleased tracks are
